Its time for a new segment here on BerkeleySportsBlog.com, the goal of the week. Each week on Sunday Evening, we'll show you, the most important or beautiful strike of the past week. This week, we give you this strike from the English Premier League. In Wigan's 2-2 draw with Stoke City after a seemly meaningless foul from beyond the half way line, the Wigan's Honduran Left Back Maynor Figueroa struck a powerful and precise ball past Stoke City goal keeper Thomas Sorensen. American fans are familiar with the skills of the Honduran Defender but this wonderstrike is sure to make fans of the other nations in Group H pause.
