The San Jose Earthquakes season came to a disappointing end on Saturday night with a 2-0 loss to the Los Angeles Galaxy. The Galaxy earn the first seed in the Western Conference playoffs with the victory, ending a three year playoff drought. The Earthquakes meanwhile finish the season at the foot of the Western Conference table with 30 points, three shy of their tally from last season.
